Join Audubon Vermont’s teacher-naturalist, Emily Kaplita, and Education Americorps Member, Sarah Hooghuis, every Monday morning from 10:00-10:45 AM for a virtual snack and story time! Each week will explore a different mammal, insect or amphibian with a corresponding book and mini lesson. There will always be a craft to go along with the story and lesson, that you can find attached to the bottom of the event page. Registrants will receive email updates about this webinar, as well as periodic email updates about Audubon's events and conservation work and how you can help birds. (You can unsubscribe at any time).
On May 18th we will read I Wish I Were A Butterfly by James Howe. After reading, we will learn about the life cycle of butterflies, the plants they need to survive and introduce a few butterflies we can find in Vermont! Best for children ages 0-5, but all are welcome!
