School gardens are a natural extension of the classroom and a common teaching space across schools in Vermont! Hear from educators who address a variety of cultural and curricular themes, topics, and standards while tending to and teaching in the garden with students of all ages! This month’s panelists bring expertise and lived experience in urban gardening, food justice in Vermont, and embracing cultural awareness through gardening and cooking. Come discuss how to apply your food justice lens and connect your garden to your curriculum, even if you are just starting out!
