Learn how to establish a more educated, sustainable, and eco-friendly culture at your school! Hear two students talk about their experiences in improving culture and encouraging sustainable action in their communities and how you can do the same. All students and teachers are welcome!
ABOUT THE SPEAKERS:
Loreley Godfrey is an 18 year old from Portsmouth, New Hampshire. She serves as the Policy Director for the student-led non-profit, Seacoast Students for Sustainability, Inc. When she's not testifying at the New Hampshire State House, Loreley enjoys skiing and hiking the Granite State's great mountains.
Vic Whitcomb is a founder and president of the Society of Sustainable Spartans, a sustainability group in northern NH. She has worked on many projects with this group pertaining to solar, waste reduction, sustainable education/culture, and more. In her free time, Vic loves snowboarding, surfing, and hiking with her four dogs.
