An evening with Meg Madden- photographer, mycologist, author, & educator

Wednesday, January 24, 2024
6:00pm - 7:00pm Eastern

Join Audubon Vermont in welcoming back mycologist Meg Madden, for a presentation of her favorite photography subject – mushrooms! Meg has spent the past two years documenting the fantastic fungi of the Green Mountain Audubon Center. Meg will share intimate “snail’s-eye-view” portraits of these ecologically essential, yet often-overlooked organisms, along with fascinating facts about some of her favorite fungal finds.

About Met: Meg Madden is a renowned mushroom photographer, accomplished author, community science advocate, and mycology educator. Inspired by the belief that people are more likely to take care of something they love, she finds great joy in facilitating fun and meaningful connections between humans and nature, especially fungi!

Registration: Advanced registration is required for this event.

This event is Pay What You Can.   As part of Audubon Vermont's ongoing mission to make our programs accessible to all members of the community, we are implementing a sliding scale payment method for this program. Your ticket fee helps cover the presenter fees.

How much should you pay? It depends! As a non-profit organization, your contribution will help our bottom line and our mission to protect birds and the places they need through education and conservation. If it helps, consider paying less if you participate in 3SquaresVT (SNAP), Medicaid, TANF (Temporary Assistance for Needy Families), or Families with Dependent Children program, for example.
