Dive into engineering design with the Wade Institute for Science Education! We're hosting an Underwater Robotics Workshop for middle and high school educators and students (grades 6-12) on November 1-2, 2024.

Event Details: - Dates: November 1st & 2nd - Time: 8:30 AM – 3:30 PM ET - Location: Lloyd Center for the Environment, Dartmouth, MA - Fee: $300 per teacher; $20 per student (includes ROV kit, curriculum materials, and lunch)

Workshop Highlights: - Build and test a mini remotely-operated vehicle (ROV) using PVC pipe and other materials - Experiment with water collection devices and sensors - Explore curriculum resources aligned with Science and Technology/Engineering Standards - Engage in hands-on engineering and scientific investigations - Bring up to 2 students to collaborate and foster teamwork
