This workshop will highlight how this movement, together with emerging global, intersectoral challenges (i.e., climate change, digitalization, widening social inequities) prompted the Outdoor Play Canada team to lead a global update to the 2015 Position Statement on Active Outdoor Play. We will discuss the process, methodology, outcome, impact, and next steps of the 2025 Position Statement on Active Outdoor Play.
